Libra

Inspired by 1970s aesthetics, the Libra armchair designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri is composed of overlapping soft volumes of the seat, backrest, and headrest, upholstered in leather or fabric, embellished with precise stitching at the centre of the cushions that amplifies the tailored and three-dimensional effect.

An interplay of volumetric balances from which it also takes its name: Libra, in Latin, means scale. The refined curling along the entire perimeter of the padded volumes of the bergère, armchair, ottoman, and dining little armchair is finished with a piping, which carefully shapes the soft folds of the upholstery, enhancing its sophisticated artisanal craftsmanship. The unique metal base consists of tubular legs and a curvilinear plate that supports the seat.
