Quite the showstopper, Minotti’s Wedge collection by nendo mixes sharpness and softness in the dining room.
Upgrade the family dining room with the Wedge table designed by nendo for Minotti, Exuding a strong graphic style, the bulky design is accentuated by the solid sculptural semicircular legs contrasting with the lighweight feel. The result is an oblique chise tip shape. The entire volume of the table, hosting the large top, appears to become weightless and leans lighlty on the tips of the legs, challenging the lasw of gravity. The result is “sharpness and softness, lightness and heavyness,” says Oki Sato, chief designer and architect for nendo. The top of the dining table comes in three different shapes: round, rectangular or barre-shaped, the latter of which is positioned in a purposely irregular formation and reveals the semicircles of the supports-making for a welcome element of surprise.
