Torii Armchair

Nendo's Torii collection for Minotti finds its inspiration in the torii gates of Japanese Shinto tradition, and nowhere is that reference more distilled than in this medium swivel armchair. The perfectly round seat appears to hover above the floor on a framework of slender interlocking bronze rods, their precision a counterpoint to the generously padded, vertically quilted upholstery above. Couture piping traces the perimeter with an artisan's care.
